Max was recommended to me as the "go-to" General Contractor for all historic restoration work Ybor City. It was the best recommendation I have ever received for a Contractor. Max was the lead Contrcator in restoring the El Progresso de Ybor Grocery and Warehouse located at 1001 East Columbus Drive.

His knowledge of the Barrio Latino District, historic restoration guidelines, and his working relationship with the City of Tampa Construction Services department were a huge benefit to us during the project. Since the completion of our office project, I have continued to work closely with Max as part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program as his selling agent for the homes he has rehabilitated. He has been one of the only Housing Partners in the City of Tampa to be able to sell all of his home to date, which is also a testimony to the great work he and his crews consistently do.

Dear Ms.West (Directed Towards Alexander Inc Company)

First let me start by saying how happy and pleased we are for what the City of Tampa has done through Alexander Inc. of Tampa Bay (President Max Maraj). My mom and I would like to extend our gratitude to you, Toanne Harrelson, Harrlet Stone, Trena Gaston - (gardener) and all those who had a part in helping our house become rehabilitated. A special thanks to all of you.
Second, we would like to commend Max and his team for doing a fantastic job. Max and his team were superb! He has a great bunch of guys who are masters and perfectionists at what they do . In addition to their skills, they are respectful, honest, trustworthy, hard-working, and they don't have attitudes. Do you know how important that is? Handymen are good but sometimes their work does not meet code. Max uses sub-contractors who are professionals at what they do. Max's team consists of Al and Juan who are excellent electricians, Sammy the tiler is a master at he does, Ray and Stevie are the best plumbers in Tampa Bay, Mike and his son-in-law worked meticulously on the windows, Tony made our house look beautiful with new doors, the carpenter ( forgot his name ) did the wood-working like he was born to do it, and last but not least, Raul, his son Jerde, and Johnny are immaculate cleaners. They are the clean-up guys and nobody more perfect and orderly than them. They take their time and do the job well. Not to mention their wonderful personalities.
Max worked by the rules. If the homeowner wants something to be done thats not in the contract, max communicates that if must go through Joane Harrelson for approval, depending of course on the nature or scope of the work. If it is something insignificant max simply says "No problem!"
Max is not just a general contractor. He is a caring person who puts his heart into what he does. He is a man of his word, has the patience of a saint, always on time, very respectful and he gets the job done in a timely manner. That makes a difference! Anybody can do anything, but to find excellent workmen is rare. We DID!

Dear Max:

First of all let me just say, my home is BEAUTIFUL! You and your staff did a wonderful job remodeling my home, i could never had imagined that it would turn out as well as it did considering all of the repairs that were needed. My family is just amazed at the outcome; It looks like a brand new house.

I am in my 80's and have a few medical challenges to deal with, knowing this, you went far and beyond to make my home accessible and comfortable. I must also say that you were very accommodating, especially with helping me move out of the house and storing my belongings into the POD (what a mess). You were absolutely wonderful and considerate in dealing with my needs and changes that were made.

I am also grateful that you always made yourself available to me i never once had to make more than one phone call to your office, when i called you it you were very prompt in returning my calls and i thank you; that alone was very comforting to me.

Again, thank you so very much Max for a job well done! If you ever need a referral please feel free to have them contact me or my daughter Marain.

Hello! Max,
Thank you for my home, Max you and your team did a wonderful job and you did it in a very timely manner, and other Contractors said it would take them at least 3 months, Max you did it in less the 4 weeks, Wow!!! I am so so happy with every thing, the Roof, plumbing, electric, heating, and cooling system, counter top, painting exterior and interior, Windows, doors and trim, ect. . Max you took me on a wild journey through every day to let me know what your plans were for that day and what to expect. Max you are a very caring person and you goal was to make me happy with my home improvement needs. Max you are very professional and you and your team were very polite and helpful, i missed you all when the job was over. Over the past several years, my company has retained Sudesh Maraj of Alexander, Inc. to rehabilitate and or renovate several properties , this year alone he has rehabilitated/renovated/repaired 2329 LaSalle, 1310 19th, 2109 Cypress, 4307 7th Ave, 3012 73rd, and 800 E. Baker Fire damage.

While each of the above projects were very extensive, I have found that Mr. Maraj has proven to be very professional and has completed each of the projects to my satisfaction, and all have been completed in timely fashions. Work was done on time and on budget. Somoneone was always availible to answer our questions and concerns. We were always kept informed about our project. The cost to complete was exactly what the original estimate was. We are very thankful we selected alexander Inc.

New construction projects have included both sing family and multi family homes. We have also worked together on residential and commercial remodel and reconfiguration jobs.
